Hospitality with a Purpose
Café and Residence Di Più,
where hospitality creates opportunity
Caffè and Residenza Di Più blend warmth and solidarity, offering guests an experience that goes beyond a simple stay.
Nestled in a charming historic building just steps from Lake Garda, these spaces are more than just places of hospitality—they are part of a visionary social project led by the Germano Chincherini Foundation.
Since its opening in 2019, Caffè Di Più has become a benchmark for workplace inclusion in the Brescia area, providing meaningful employment and training for individuals with cognitive and relational disabilities. Thanks to a partnership with Fobap Onlus, young workers are trained to handle all aspects of the café, from the counter to the dining area, fostering a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.
Residenza Di Più carries forward this mission, offering six cozy rooms and an apartment in the same historic 17th-century building that houses the café. By staying here, every guest becomes part of a project that celebrates diversity and empowers those who bring it to life.
Choosing Residenza and Caffè Di Più means embracing a form of hospitality that makes a difference—an experience where the beauty of Lake Garda meets the value of inclusion and shared purpose.

Workplace Inclusion Goals
At Residenza Di Più and Caffè Di Più, we believe that work is a gateway to growth and independence for all. Our goal is to provide individuals with cognitive and relational disabilities a professional and welcoming environment where they can develop skills, build relationships, and gain confidence.
With the support of Fobap Onlus, each participant receives continuous training, actively contributing to the daily operations of both the café and the residence. Every guest who stays or enjoys a coffee here becomes part of a movement that promotes real inclusion.
The Germano Chincherini Foundation
Residenza Di Più and Caffè Di Più project was made possible thanks to the support of the Germano Chincherini Foundation, which has long been committed to social and solidarity initiatives. Through its vision, a historic building has been transformed into a space of hospitality and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
The Foundation not only launched the project but continues to actively sustain it with resources and initiatives aimed at ensuring its long-term growth and success. Every visitor and guest contributes to this mission, making hospitality a true act of solidarity.

Benefits for the Local Community
More than just a hospitality venue, Residenza Di Più and Caffè Di Più play an active role in the growth of the Salò community. By providing job opportunities for people with disabilities, the project fosters their integration into the local social and economic fabric.
Additionally, the initiative enhances the town’s historical and cultural heritage by repurposing an ancient building into a hub of tourism and social engagement. By prioritizing short supply chains and working with local producers, the project also supports the regional economy while offering guests an authentic and meaningful experience.
A Historic Building with a New Purpose
The Residenza Di Più and Caffè Di Più are housed in a beautifully restored stone building dating back to the late 17th century. Located in the heart of Salò, it was formerly owned by the Cominelli Foundation before being donated to the Germano Chincherini Foundation, which transformed it into both a social and commercial project.
The restoration preserved the building’s historic charm while incorporating modern solutions to ensure comfort and accessibility. Today, this space is more than a testament to its past—it is a living, thriving environment where history, hospitality, and social impact come together.
